入國登記表 ARRIVAL CARD

Online Arrival Card

In response to reducing carbon footprint and simplifying the immigration inspection procedure for foreigners, the National Immigration Agency is launching a new website for passengers to complete their immigration arrival cards.

Starting from 1 July 2015, passengers arriving in Taiwan at any airport/port can complete online immigration arrival cards at National Immigration Website.

Trial operation of Biometrics Verification System for Foreign Visitors at Kaohsiung International Airport on December 18th 2013

This system will collect and verify foreign visitors’ photograph and fingerprints of both index fingers to prevent the use of fraudulent documents, prevent identity theft, and stop criminals and immigration violators from entering and departing Taiwan. Implementing biometrics verification at border allows immigration officers to determine visitors’ identity faster and more accurately.

NIA launched the trial operation of Biometrics Verification System for Foreign Visitors at Kaohsiung International Airport on December 18th 2013. Foreign visitors aged more than 14 years old, including people from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao residents, and nationals without household registration, are required to have their biometrics collected and verified when arriving and departing Taiwan. NIA will also deploy the system to all main airports and seaports on 2014.
